Mystic Manor – Hong Kong Disneyland – 2013
As a Disney Imagineer, Zeitgeist Executive Vice President and Chief Art Director Joe Lanzisero created his second signature dark ride, Mystic Manor, for Hong Kong Disneyland. The park expansion that he oversaw included the three new lands: Mystic Point, Grizzly Gulch, and the world’s first Toy Story Land. Mystic Manor is a next-gen version of Disney’s classic Haunted Mansion that combines a trackless ride system with animatronics, projection mapping and other special effects to create a story-rich guest experience that won a Thea Award (2013) and has been hailed as “the best dark ride in the world!”
